Book a drawing mini-workshop

In-person lessons are fun and engaging, and couldn’t be easier to setup. Drawings tend to be 2 at a time so that kids can see the progression and differences between how the simple line differences create a whole new image. We cover topics that kids love and aim to give them an immediate feeling of success.

What we’ll draw

Faces & expressions

Simple emoji style drawings, showing how to brings emotions to life using simple lines. For example:

  • Happy / Laughing
  • Sad / Crying
  • Disappointed / Angry
  • Suprised / Frightened

Ninja!

Bodies & movement

Using little ninjas we explore where things connect on the body and how to show basic movements. For example:

  • How heads, bodies, arms and legs attach
  • Facing out, facing sideways
  • Jumping, running, kicking

Need for speed!

Vehicles & transport

Staring with a circle, how many vehicles can you draw? How to make cars and rockets look fast. For example:

  • Circle submarine and helicopters
  • Rocket and race car – with fire!
  • Jet airplane
  • Construction vehicles

Awww & grrr!

Animals & creatures

Cute or scary? We’ll look at ways to make simple animals both fuzzy and cute, and ferocious and scary. For example:

  • Simple dog, cat, cow, monkey faces
  • T-rex, lion, shark
  • Simple four legged animals – unicorn, horse
  • Monsters and aliens

Hard to draw everyday objects

Here we learn to draw the things we see around us, but can sometimes be hard to reproduce on paper.

We need a place for all our drawings to live and there are many exciting environments around the world. Let’s learn to draw:

Lights, camera, action!

Simple characters from TV and moves

Lets try to draw some of the kid’s favorite cartoon super heroes and villains. For example:

Holidays and seasons

Holidays can be fun for everyone. Let’s draw the things we see during different times of the year. For example:

Simple 3D and shading

Bringing drawings to live with basic 3D perspective and shadows and shading tecnhiques. For example:
